Empress Redevelopment Project Updates: April 2017

With funds in place from the Wyoming Business Council, Laramie Main Street, the City of Laramie and Big Hollow Food Coop had a kickoff meeting in March 2017 with our contractor, GH Phipps and Arete Design Group, our architect team. We'll be finalizing exterior and interior design elements in April with groundbreaking scheduled for the first week of June!

A tentative completion date has been set for the end of December 2017 with Big Hollow moving in January 2018.

We are exploring setting up a website for internal and external communications, placing a webcam on the roof of the opposite building so that the public can watch our progress and taking site photos with a drone each week. Our goal is to be very communicative and transparent with the public, property owners and businesses in the area so everyone is aware of the process and remains excited about the end result.
