“Light Up Downtown” is a collaborative project between the Laramie Beautification Committee, Laramie Main Street, Visit Laramie, the Laramie Board of Realtors and the City of Laramie to install programable, year round lighting downtown to create a sense of place and game day pride while providing evening ambience, enhanced visability for local businesses, and safety for customers.
Phase I includes properties on Third Street between Ivinson and Custer.

PROJECT TIMELINE:
November 12 - Tough Guys will access rooflines to finalize measurements, confirm power outlets and internet access points
Dec. 1 - 5 - start installing lights on the south end of the project, beginning with Alsco and Verizon on either side of 3rd at Garfield and work towards Grand Avenue
Dec. 9 - 12 - install lights at Roxies and the Connor and work towards the south side of Ivinson Avenue
Lights turned on in time for Christmas

March - Green for Saint Patricks and Mardi Gras
April - Blue and Green for Easter and Earth Day
May - Brown & Gold for UW graduation week then red, white & blue for Memorial Weekend
June - Multicolor for summer
July - Red, white & blue for the 4th, statehood day & Jubilee Days
August - Multicolor for summer
