2026 Farmers Market Report

During the 2026 season, each Friday market hosted between 100 and 109 vendors, averaging 106 spaces filled per market, or 96% capacity per market. This is an increase from 2025!

We received 202 applications for the 2026 season, with 194 unique vendors attending at least one market. 63 vendors registered for the full season, and 28 registered for 10 to 12 markets. That means 82% of vendors applied for nearly the whole season.

Vendor engagement kept the market vibrant week after week. Market Director Simona shared, “I’m incredibly proud of this season’s harvest of accomplishments, from welcoming a unique and vibrant group of vendors to achieving strong net revenue and nurturing a welcoming market community and atmosphere”.

In 2026, the community contributed 171 volunteer hours, 258.2 pounds of food for the Soup Kitchen and $14,325 in donations/sponsorships to support the market SNAP program, non profit vendors and overhead expenses.

“Our vendors, volunteers and community are what make our market so special” Director Trey Sherwood said with a smile. “Where else can you buy your groceries for the week and make a new friend”!

Market Assistant Jaron brings a unique perspective to the market. A former vendor, now manager, he reflected on the success of the market, stating, “I am very proud of the relationship that we were able to build between our team, vendors, and the Laramie community this season! The feeling of community, support, and connection at the markets was unlike anything else”!
