Laramie Main Street Launches “The Doors of Laramie” to Showcase Downtown’s Entrepreneurs

LARAMIE, Wyo. — The Laramie Main Street Alliance (LMSA) is proud to announce the launch of The Doors of Laramie, a new digital storytelling campaign designed to celebrate the people, businesses, and unique experiences that makes Laramie’s historic district a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting downtown businesses, LMSA created The Doors of Laramie to highlight the independent businesses, artists, makers, instructors, and entrepreneurs who contribute to the Laramie’s vibrant culture and sense of community.

The Doors of Laramie is about more than showcasing businesses,” said Main Street volunteer and project coordinator, Trisha Gullekson. “It’s about introducing our neighbors to the people behind those businesses—the individuals whose creativity, passion, and dedication help make Downtown Laramie a place where community thrives.

The campaign is designed as an engaging, “Instagrammable” visual storytelling series featuring short-form videos that invite viewers to step through the metaphorical front doors of local businesses. Each feature will introduce an entrepreneur while offering a glimpse into the classes, workshops, activities, retail experiences, and events they provide. Every story will also include a fun personal fact, helping community members get to know the people behind the storefronts.

Participating businesses represent a broad range of independently owned, experienced based businesses including art studios, craft instructors, food and beverage manufactures, and other organizations that provide entertainment, rentals, workshops, and community-centered experiences.

Business outreach, interviews, and production began in June 2026. New video features will be released every Wednesday through September. Wednesday releases are intended to inspire residents as they make plans for weekend activities and encourage them to discover new experiences throughout Downtown Laramie.
